On Thursday 19th January, 7 Year
11 Arts Award students had the privilege of visiting the TR2. The venue
provides costumes, props, set and rehearsal spaces for the Theatre
Royal productions and other large productions around the world.
tour was very extensive and inspirational, the students were able to
try on costumes and wigs, including goatie beards that cost £400 to
make! We also watched carpenters and engineers building large pieces of
set for upcoming productions.
The highlight of
the morning was a sneaky peak at the 'Mamma Mia' cast, rehearsing the
famous musical that has just opened this week.
A big thank you to the TR2 and to our students who were, as always, truly amazing!
