Monday 4th July was the beginning of Brook Green's Empty Classroom week. The staff were asked to plan and deliver at least one lesson outdoors over the week. Lots of great ideas were on display form calculating tree circumference to a French game of cache-cache (hide and seek), pond dipping in science and many more. On the Wednesday, the whole school, spent the day outside taking part in various activities and we were helped by volunteers from Earthjump and Plymouth City Council. The weather was fantastic and the students enthusiasm was great to see. Staff seemed to enjoy the opportunity to get out and about in Woodland Woods. It is really good to see all the learning opportunities that can take place outside of the classroom.
